ADB-UNESCO-IHE Knowledge Partnership

Introduction

In November 2011, a partnership agreement was signed between the Asian Development Bank and UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education.

This partnership, which will initially run for 33 months, will manage a fund of 2.5 million USD, made available from the ADB-administered Netherlands Trust Fund under the Water Financing Partnership Facility.

The aim of this partnership agreement is to support water operations in ADB's Developing Member Countries (DMCs) by providing expert guidance during project preparation and implementation, and on developing and implementing Education, Training and Capacity Development, to support Knowledge Networking programs and to strengthen regional Knowledge Networking among (DMC) clients, partners and Knowledge hubs.

Final Report Water Learning Week is now available

The 3rd Asia-Netherlands Water Learning Week was recently held in the Netherlands. The final report of this successful event is now available online.
